What Cue does during a call
- A live transcript of everyone on the call, with what you said kept apart from what others said, so you can follow the conversation and look back at what was asked.
- Answers drafted when you’re asked something. Cue spots questions as they come up and shows a suggested answer in a small overlay. You can turn automatic answers off and ask for one with a keyboard shortcut instead.
- Status updates from your own projects. For questions like “Is the login bug fixed?” or “When does the migration land?”, Cue answers from the projects, tasks and updates you’ve logged, so the answer has real names, dates and owners.
Works with the meeting apps you already use
Cue listens to your PC’s audio rather than plugging into a meeting app, so it works the same way everywhere:
Microsoft Teams
Live transcription works in any Teams meeting or call. With a work or school Microsoft account, Teams sync can also read the chats you choose every few minutes and suggest project updates from them, so your projects stay current without retyping.
Zoom
Works in the Zoom desktop app and Zoom in the browser, with no Zoom app or permission to install.
Google Meet
Works in Meet in any browser. Nothing to add to your Google account.
Everything else
Webex, Slack huddles and any other call that plays through your PC.
Setting up your projects
Answers are only as good as what Cue knows. For each project you can add its name and other names people use for it, status, deadline, owner, the stakeholders who ask about it, and notes on goals, risks and numbers worth quoting. Add tasks and bugs with an owner and who you’re waiting on, and log updates as things move. Teams sync can suggest those updates for you.
After the call
Each session is saved in History on your PC with its transcript and the questions and answers from the call. Export it as Markdown to paste into your notes, or delete it.
Privacy and consent
Cue doesn’t store call audio, and transcripts stay on your PC. Some places require everyone’s consent before a conversation is transcribed, so tell the people on the call where that applies. See the privacy policy and terms.
What it costs
You pay for live call time, not per seat. Every account starts with 15 free minutes; after that the Hourly Pack is $12 for 2 hours, and Monthly Pro is $69 a month for 25 hours. Compare plans.
